I have always been fascinated with ancient times, including the mysticism and wisdom brought with their stories. One day I came across the 12 Laws of the Universe. Understanding how old these texts were, I was delighted and amazed that each one resonated in some way with my life, and aligned with my beliefs and observations of the flow of life and nature. So what are these 12 laws of the Universe?
The 12 Laws of the Universe are spiritual in nature. Their origins go back to ancient times in Egypt. The 7 Hermetic Principles would seem to overlap into these 12 laws of the Universe. To begin, I will outline all 12 Laws with a brief description of what they are. The first law is Law of Devine Oneness. It’s principle message is that everything and everyone is interconnected. The second Law is Law of Vibration. It says that everything (matter and personal frequency) is in constant motion and vibrating at a high or low frequency. And that its current state may affect events in our lives either positively or negatively. The third Law is Law of Correspondence. “As above, So below. As within, So without”. This Law says that our reality is a mirror of what is happening inside us at the moment. The fourth Law is the Law of Attraction. Like attracts Like and you get what you focus on. The fifth Law is Law of Inspired Action. It says to intentionally take effective actionable steps invites change we wish to bring into our lives. The sixth Law is Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy. On an energetic level, in the universe, everything is evolving and changing. Every thought followed by action with intention has the power to manifest desired change in our lives. The seventh Law is Law of Cause and Effect. Self explanatory. A caveat here: often this Law is not immediately noticed. But will cycle around in time. The eighth Law is Law of Compensation. “You reap what you sow”. If you practice what you desire , your efforts will return to you with compensation. The ninth Law is Law of Relativity. This law states that despite our nature to compare things and situations as good or bad, everything is neutral. Meaning is from a personal perspective and perception. The tenth Law is Law of Polarity. Everything in life has an opposite. Seemingly two separate entities, but are really two sides of the same coin. To understand one brings more clarity to its opposite. The eleventh Law is Law of Rhythm. Everything, including the Universe is cyclical. The twelve Law is Law of Gender. This law says there is masculine and feminine energy in all things. Understanding this Law may achieve a centric and more balanced approach to live more authentically.
I begin this blog within the framework of an exploratory perspective; an attempt to apply these Laws in modern times. In my submissions on this blog, I will explore the meaning and utility of these 12 Laws of the Universe within the background of daily life. At times I may choose to apply these Laws to the global stage.
And I invite you ,Reader, to join me on this journey, in hopes that we may all be more enlightened, and perhaps gain new wisdom to navigate these strange and unprecedented times.
